Discover the many ways FDU helped Andrew become a nurse.

Hands-on clinical experiences and a hybrid curriculum are just two of the ways FDU prepared Andrew for a career in nursing… paving the way to follow in his family’s footsteps.

Hello. My name is Andrew Enrile . I'm a senior in the Bachelor of Science Nursing Program here at FDU. FDU lived up to my expectations because it provided me a very comprehensive nursing education as well as a very diverse clinical experience.

I joined the nursing profession because of my parents. My mom's a nurse and my dad's a nurse manager, and learning about their work made me realize that we really need more nurses in the field. While at FDU, I had two professors that were really instrumental in my nursing education. They both allowed me to understand, in this case, pediatrics as well as med surg or medical surgery. These professions are very comprehensive.

They deal with a variety of conditions and really broaden my horizons and what I can do as nurse. One of the biggest benefits of attending FDU is the hybrid curriculum that the nursing program offers you can be online or in the comfort of your own home. To me, FDU is challenging, interesting and worthwhile. At FDU, I seized the moment, and it changed my world.
