FDU’s internship program helped Daniel to become a financial planner.

I'm Daniel long, and I'm currently a certified financial planner at a financial planning firm called Mendham Capital Management.

FDU helped launch my career in a few ways.

I utilized the Career Development Office and worked with their staff to identify open internships within the community.

I ended up gaining a valuable internship in 2015 which is where my current employer is.

Every incoming student should know that the university is deeply committed in providing quality education, connecting with students of what matters most to them, and leveraging connections within the community to transition into work that aligns with students' interests and goals.

I connected with someone within the Alumni Relations Board last year for general network, along with involvement at FDU, this led me to attending various alumni events last year where I was ultimately asked to be on the FDU Alumni Board of Governors.

I was just nominated for this position.

I'm thrilled to work with fellow board members to enhance the alumni experience and elevate FDU profile.

At FDU, I seized the moment and it changed my world.
