Hello. My name is Adam Matter.
I graduated from FDU, and now I'm a student again, as a graduate student.
So what I'm mainly studying is clinical mental health counseling.
This is a program where we study to become therapists.
So right now, as I'm a student, I work as a therapist.
FDU did live up to my expectations when I was coming here as an international student from Egypt, I was really excited to meet a lot of different people from a lot of different places in the world, but I was also able to find a lot of people who were just like me.
I've always loved being a part of the community at FDU. I've always worked here while I was a student, and I always like to hang out with my friends.
So we always like to hang out on campus.
We like to play music together, and there's always things to do here at FDU, my professors were instrumental for the success that I found in my career.
They always took the time to get to know me and all the other students, so I always felt valued.
So I would always go to them for all the mentorship and all the advice that I needed, and it really helped me to become what I am today.
I seized the moment at FDU, and now I'm a therapist.
